Tag med på en rejse gennem tid, hvor erindring møder skabelse. Det er 25 år siden Aurélien Bory først så Heaven is far away the Earth as well. I dette nye værk samarbejder Bory med instruktør Mladen Materic, som var skaber af den originale forestilling. Og Bory fik tilladelse til at bruge den oprindelige scenografi. Resultatet er en personlig nyfortolkning, hvor de to instruktører udforsker rummet mellem fødsel og død, ungdom og alderdom, styrke og udmattelse – i kløften mellem, hvad man håber på fra livet, og hvad man får. Forestillingen, som er opført af det franske Compagnie 111, opererer i et krydsfelt af forskellige scenekunstformer og giver genklang i os alle. Publikum kan være sikker på at blive berørt i forhold til deres egen livshistorie.
